Little Rob Double Paddle Canoe Plans

Make a traditional 14ft. Rob Roy style canoe with the The Little Rob Canoe Plans. This canoe is the big brother to the Nantucket Sleigh, offerring  a bit more wiggle room.

Little Rob is the perfect choice for the solo paddler who wants to be able to paddle on a moments notice.  Like the Nantucket Sleigh, it is well suited to either larger persons up to 300 lbs or people who wish to carry a good deal of fishing, hunting or camping gear.  Stability is not a problem in this boat and it maneuvers well with a double or kayak paddle.

Even though this boat is listed as a solo boat, if you want to carry a child with you, you can do that in this boat. Two adults may have a problem with leg room, depending on their size.

If you are the type of person that likes to lean back and take a snooze on the water, you will find this boat very accommodating.

We strongly recommend that you purchase the streaming video with the plans. However, we realize that for some of you this may not be your first time building a strip boat and have given you the option.
